In the heart of the Live Music Capital of the World, at the iconic Stubbs in Austin, a remarkable sister trio took to the stage during the electrifying South By Southwest (SXSW) festival. The venue was packed to the brim with eager music enthusiasts, all ready to witness the dazzling performance of The Tiarras. There had been performances at Stubbs all week long, but The Tiarras were a definite standout, igniting the audience with their show-stopping guitar playing and melodic vocals.
Throughout their set, everyone was dancing to their tunes and entranced by their musicianship. The lead vocals and guitarist, Tori, put on a show-stopping performance, walking out to the crowd, getting as close as possible, while playing face-melting riffs (as seen in the photos!). It was so exciting and honestly a photographers dream when she did that, because I was able to capture all of the emotion that she put into her playing.
Formed by three talented biological sisters, Tori, Sophia, and Tiffany Baltierra, The Tiarras are a multi-faceted musical force to be reckoned with. These Mexican-American musicians that hail from Texas have made it their mission to create inclusive music without boundaries or restrictions. Here's a little glimpse into their captivating performance.
